Who would you thank for helping you through this winter?
This has been a tough winter and we still have a few weeks to go! We could not have opened our doors without the wonderful help of our members on property committee and the blessed folks who plow our parking lot. We thank God for the drivers who work long hours to make our roads passable and for the community leaders who have to make tough decisions.
Who helped you out this winter?
The story of Lent
#newmediaproject #stewardshiptuesday
The media at our fingertips offers ways to share the gospel and invite others to be a part of it. The story of Lent is an example of a church in Indiana using their gifts of creativity to teach and welcome.
If Indiana is too far for you, you are welcome to worship in Quincy! Lenten Worship on Wednesdays, 6:30 pm with dinner, reflection, and vespers. Sunday morning services are casual (8 am) and traditional (10 am).
How does Lent make you feel? #stewardshiptuesday
Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Aside from wondering how in the world Lent got here so quickly, how does Lent make you feel? Somber, gracious, loving, forgiving..forgiven?
Ash Wednesday service will begin at 7 pm. We will have Soup, Song and Sacrament every Wednesday during Lent starting at 6:30 pm.
*The Stewardship team is embarking on publishing a devotion, thought, prayer each Tuesday in 2015. #stewardshiptuesday

A new website..
While there is far more to Faith than a website, our old one needs an update. Something clean and focused on who we really are as a congregation. If you have any thoughts or ideas on how to make it better or just some positive feedback, feel free to leave a comment! Eventually, the domain www.faithlutheranquincy.org will be redirected to this new site.
